Terntank receives Bremenports clean ships award
Bremenports - the ports of Bremen and Bremerhaven - reward Terntank with the Greenports Award for the cleanest vessel fleet that entered the ports in 2018.
The award for the most environmentally friendly fleet was awarded by Bremenport's CEO Robert Howe at the Sustainable Shipping conference in Bremen. Terntank is one step ahead of legislation and works continuously and successfully to improve the fleet's environmental performance. This makes Terntank a role model on the road to clean shipping, he says in a press release, which also states that the Terntank fleet has an average of 82.4 ESI points (Environmental Ship Index).
The award was received by Jens P Buchhave, CEO of Terntank Rederi A/S. Of course, we are proud and happy that our dedicated environmental investments are being noticed abroad in Europe, he says to the Shipping Agency.
