Naming Ceremony

China March 2025
We at Terntank are excited to invite you to join us in celebrating the naming ceremony of CMYZ0129 and CMYZ0130 on Friday, 21 March 2025, at China Merchants Jinling Shipyard (Yangzhou), China!
 
Here’s some practical information about the trip:
 
ITINERARY
 

Tuesday, 18 March: Depart from your home country to arrive in Shanghai on Wednesday, 19 March. We’ve arranged accommodations for everyone at the Grand Central Hotel, 505 Jiujiang Road, Huangpu District, Shanghai.

Thursday, 20 March: Free day for personal activities and exploration.

Friday, 21 March: Departure from Shanghai at 08:00 by bus to the shipyard (approximately a 4-5 hour drive). After the naming ceremony, we will proceed to Changzhou for the celebratory dinner and overnight stay. Terntank will arrange your accommodation in Changzhou.

Saturday, 22 March: The bus will leave Changzhou at 08:00, returning to Shanghai around 11:00.

Sunday, 23 March: Suggested day to begin your journey home.

VISA INFORMATION
 
Swedish Citizens
Here is some information on travelling to China from Utrikesdepartementet. 
A visa is required to travel to China. To apply, you will need an invitation letter from the shipyard. Please share your passport information with us promptly to ensure we can obtain this letter in time.
You can apply for a visa at the following locations in Sweden:
– Chinese Visa Application Center, Karlavägen 108, Stockholm
– Chinese Visa Application Service Centre, Lilla Bommen 6, 4th floor, Gothenburg
Before visiting the Visa Center, you must complete this online form. We will send detailed instructions to assist you with the process.
A passport photo is required for your application. Most photo centers are familiar with the specifications for Chinese visas.
Please confirm that your vaccinations are up to date for visiting major city areas.
 
Norwegian Citizens
Here is some information on travelling to China from Regjeringen. 
No visa is required for visits of up to 30 days.
Ensure your passport is valid for at least six months after your departure from China.
Please confirm that your vaccinations are up to date for visiting major city areas.
 
Danish Citizens
Here is some information on travelling to China from Udenrigsministeriet. 
No visa is required for visits of up to 30 days.
Ensure your passport is valid for at least six months after your departure from China.
Please confirm that your vaccinations are up to date for visiting major city areas.
 
Finish Citizens
Here is some information on travelling to China from Ulkoministeriö. 
No visa is required for visits of up to 15 days.
Ensure your passport is valid for at least six months after your departure from China.
Please confirm that your vaccinations are up to date for visiting major city areas.
