Terntank is a family-owned shipping company founded in 1958 on the island of Donsö, located in Gothenburg’s southern archipelago. Today, Terntank owns and operates nine tanker vessels, with five newbuilding’s currently on order. Specialising in the transport of environmental fuels, we work with Europe’s leading oil companies and are pioneers in sustainable shipping technologies. In recent years, we have invested heavily in eco-friendly vessels equipped with batteries and shore power, all in close cooperation with our customers.

We are currently seeking a Technical Superintendent to join our Technical Department. In this role, you will provide vital support to our vessels, offering technical guidance to crews, arranging services, ordering spare parts, and overseeing the Planned Maintenance System. Additionally, you will conduct technical inspections of the vessels.

Key Responsibilities: • Provide technical support and advice to vessel crews • Arrange services, order spare parts, and manage supplies • Monitor the Planned Maintenance System • Conduct technical inspections and ensure compliance with safety standards • Collaborate with cross-functional teams at our office in Donsö

Requirements: • Passion for the shipping industry and a positive, proactive mindset • Responsible, structured, and flexible with a team-oriented attitude • Ability to communicate effectively with diverse groups • Willingness to travel approximately 50 days per year, including 7-8 day shipyard visits • Fluency in Swedish and English • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, K-fleet, or similar systems • Degree in Marine Engineering and previous experience in a similar role preferred
